Amazing Grace
Series Wants to Hear your Story
Information provided by Patti Armstrong, co-author Amazing Grace Series
Sure we were told:
"For better or worse, for richer or poorer...," but does
anyone really know what they are in for? Marriage is a sacrament often
filled with glimpses of heaven, hell, and plenty of purgatory. Yet, with
God's grace, it remains a holy institution.
If you are married, you have a story to share. Your story can help inspire
and support other Catholic couples living out their wedding vows. And what a
surprise or way to honor your spouse. If your story is accepted, it will be
published in Amazing Grace for Married Couples; part of the new Amazing
Grace series published by Ascension Press. These are Chicken Soup style
books for Catholics. The editors behind the project are Jeff Cavins (author,
teacher, and host on EWTN) and Matthew Pinto (author of Did Adam & Eve Have Bellybuttons...And 199 other questions from Catholic Teenagers and publisher.)
Here are some story suggestions, but don't limit yourself to just these:
conversions
for richer or poorer
for better or worse stories (happy endings please)
in sickness and in health
humor of any kind
incredible love stories
how children change a marriage
stories and observations of other marriages, ie. parents, grandparents, etc.
We are open to almost any inspiration, faith-building or otherwise touching
story. Also, your story(ies) need not be specifically related to the
Catholic faith. General stories of virtue and goodness or stories with a
good moral ending are welcome. Previously published articles you enjoyed can
also be submitted. It will be an opportunity to reach thousands across the
country, as this book will be in both Catholic and secular book stores.

random memory.

Send submissions to: pattiarmstrong@bis.midco.net or 618 W. Boulevard;
Bismarck, ND 58501.
