Do You Love Sweets Too?

If we're judging by the number of comments, my most popular post has been "My Dark Secrets". It was the mention of my love of sweets that got the comments cookin' there. A few very knowledgeable commenters really added to the conversation and provided much more information than I'd have ever been able to come up with on the topic. The main thing we all need to remember, though, (especially myself!), is that there is NO sugar that is good for us. This is difficult for me as a Mom, though. I love to surprise the kids by having a batch of cookies just coming out of the oven when they get home! So I'll only make them now and then, and I'll play around with recipes to use healthier sweeteners (which you can read about at that post), or I'll try cutting part of the sugar out.
