ffgAs we amp up for Father's Day, many Catholic Moms are counting our blessings for the Dads in our lives - our own, our children's and the spiritual heroes we call "Father" every day.  Over at Fathers for Good, the Knights of Columbus have an interesting quiz that helps men answer the question, "Am I a good father?"

While the survey is intended for men, I found it very thought provoking to ask myself the questions from a mom's perspective.  How strongly do I agree with the statements "I say I love them in word and deed" or "I practice what I preach"?  How would my kids respond on my behalf?  Good questions to ponder on the week when we celebrate the men who serve as spiritual heads of our households!

Along with the topics raised in the Fathers for Good Survey, what traits do you feel make a "good Father"?
