Sometimes, we moms can feel a bit isolated in our vocations, wondering whether the contributions we make really have an impact upon the larger Body of Christ. When these moments happen in my own life, I love to think of the example of St. Therese of Lisieux, the patron saint of missionaries, who never fulfilled her dream of traveling the world as a missionary. Instead, she support those doing missionary works with her letters and her prayers.
There are so many ways in which moms today can play a similar role, and one exciting new initiative is Rosary for the Bishop. Rosary for the Bishop is a campaign that aims to support Catholic Bishops through prayer of the Rosary. Please take a few minutes to join in praying for your Bishop. As of today, there are 904 people signed up to pray for 301 Bishops around the world. Signing up for Rosary for the Bishop is quick, easy and free. Wouldn't you and your family love supporting you Bishop with your prayers?
