As with any technology, Skype offers some terrific uses for Catholic families. It's a terrific way to keep in touch affordably with family and friends separated by distance. Teens can enjoy working on homework together or video chatting with Grandparents. We use Skype to keep in touch with our son who's away at college. As with any online service, Skype should be appropriately supervised by parents and your computer should be placed in an open area of your home where teens' usage can be controlled and monitored. A continual discussion about safe and appropriate use of technology is important in any home where children and teens have access to online content. Enjoy!
