Today I am thrilled to share the artwork of Cameron Smith, a Catholic artist whose faith has dramatically inspired his work.

The painting Cameron has shared with us, entitled "Immaculate Heart of Mary", has moved me so greatly in my devotional prayer life. Mary's loving face, the expression in her eyes, and her invitation calling each of us into deeper relationship with her son Jesus inspire me each time I lay eyes on this piece. The companion piece, Sacred Heart of Jesus, is equally as stunning.

I invite you to visit Cameron's website at www.smithcatholicart.com to view and purchase his art.

About the Artist:

Cameron Smith is an artist living in Wilmington, NC, with his wife and four children. An accomplished painter, Cameron just recently received an Award of Excellence in the Oil Painters of America 2010 Eastern Regional Juried Show. His paintings reflect the beauty he finds in the people and places around him, as well as in his Catholic faith which he says, "ultimately impacts all of my work." Cameron and his wife, Kristen, are devout Catholics and homeschool their children. With the arts being an integral part of life, they've created Smith Catholic Art to be a family apostolate dedicated to producing original, contemporary, Catholic art. Currently, works by Cameron are featured, and the young Smiths are showing much interest and budding talent.

Cameron Smith is represented by Walls Fine Art Gallery, www.wallsgallery.com, where his original paintings are available. He may be contacted directly through his website: www.csmithart.com.
