The beauty of youth;
He looks out into the horizon and knows not what awaits him there,
He listens to the bird in the distance unable to decipher its origin,
He feels the cool October breeze brush his plump cheeks,
He stands fully present in the moment.
He is not remembering the past … what could have or should have been,
He is not thinking of the future and all the things he must accomplish on his To Do List,
He is fully conscious of the powder blue sky and cotton clouds,
He is keenly aware of the animals that rustle through the high grass;
He is living as we should fully aware in the moment and that is the beauty of youth.
