As we prepare for the glory of Holy Week, it's so wonderful to see so many beautiful images cropping up all over Pinterest. This week, I thought I would share a great board from one of my favorite Catholic media outlets. The Catholic Spirit is the official publication of the Archdiocese of St. Paul & Minneapolis, so it's no surprise that they are doing a great job of using the Pinterest to uplift not only readers in their own diocese, but the rest of us as well!

Catholic Spirit's Lenten Meals board features over fifty delectable suggestions for Lenten Fridays and other days of abstinence, and you're invited to share your recipes there too. I've looked at this board more than once this Lenten season when I was low on meal ideas for my family. After you've checked out these meal ideas, be sure to click through and visit the rest of Catholic Spirit's boards too.

One final treat for you — our good friend Allison Girone of the Catholic Pinterest Group Board has kindly agreed to offer a weekly pointer for us on how to use some best practices to enjoy and effectively employ Pinterest. Here’s this week’s tip from Allison:

"Repin" is different than "Like." The way I see it, repin is for something that you really love. It suits your current boards or makes you want to create a board for it! Likes are something that doesn't fit into a board...yet...but you want to remember it.

If you’re a Catholic using Pinterest, please drop a link in the comments below to share your boards. Also, I’d love to hear about why you love Pinterest and how you think this latest craze might be used to spread the Good News.
