Happy Easter friends! I hope today has been a day filled with joy, love and family, and a fitting climax to a season of Lent that has changed your heart, soul and life.

Today, I'm coming to you with an exciting opportunity. My good friend Brandon Christison, a music minister in my home town of Fresno and the worship leader at my own parish's 6:00 Mass, is currently seeking support to record his very first CD. I have been a fan of Brandon's for years and have watched his musical gifts unfold and develop in new and beautiful ways. Not only is Brandon a terrific singer and guitar player, but he's also a gifted composer. I'm sharing a video here of his song "Unstoppable", which is one of my personal favorites. When I listen to Brandon's music, I hear his personal relationship with Christ -- in so many ways he is a great role model for the youth at our parish, but he's also ministering to moms like me!

Brandon is in the midst of raising funds to create his first CD. You may not know that most Catholic musicians don't receive any funding for their projects. Very few are signed professionally, and most have to not only write and perform their songs, but also come up the resources to actually professionally record their work.

I'm not a huge fan of asking people for money, but in Brandon's case, I am making an exception. Please join me today by donating any amount you can to Brandon's campaign. I've made a donation today, and am asking you to consider giving up a coffee, a trip to the movies, or a meal out at a restaurant this week and using those funds to help Brandon's album become a reality. Each of us have been given unique and special gifts by God, and Brandon Christison is certainly ready to use his to help others know Christ more personally.

Donate today to Brandon Christison's CD fund -- any donation size is graciously appreciated.
