I was incredibly impressed that night by the awesome group of women assembled for fellowship, networking and faith formation. One of the ladies in the group that night was Joan Jablonski, one of the founders of the awesome tool [WeGather](http://www.wegather.com/church-social-networking). This fantastic portal, born out of the needs of St. Clement Moms Group, is now a fully functional, and free, resource for other parish communities with available add-on features that make it a great organizer for your parish or group. Please take a moment to read the following announcement, [visit the WeGather website](http://www.wegather.com/church-social-networking), and share this information with your pastor or parish staff. LMH* ### WeGather offering a free custom web portal to help engage members of churches & synagogues **Chicago, IL** - Chicago tech company WeGather has announced that it is now offering its unique online volunteer platform free of charge to faith communities seeking to better engage their members.  The goal is to make volunteering easy for participants and volunteer organizers alike at churches and synagogues nationwide. The WeGather free web portal is completely customizable which makes it a good choice for any faith community regardless of size or financial means.  All faith communities have sub-groups by function:  one group may be primarily social in nature while another schedules weekly volunteers, and still another seeks donations.  WeGather’s in-depth research among highly engaged volunteers showed that the chief cause of volunteer frustration and burnout was failed communication – a sure side effect when using an assortment of online tools requiring countless website signups and logins. [![](https://static.hsstatic.net/BlogImporterAssetsUI/ex/missing-image.png "WeGather.com Screenshot")](http://catholicmom.com/?attachment_id=31894) WeGather.com in action To fulfill that communication need, this modern and easy-to-use web portal is a unique gift to religious enthusiasts.  “It brings together all the volunteer tools a church or synagogue needs, using the very latest technology,” says Joe Jablonski, president of WeGather.  “The result is a smooth experience for volunteers and a single customer service department to handle all questions. We pride ourselves on our responsiveness.” Tools included for free in the WeGather web portal include event invitations, online calendars, group email blasts, document storage, member directories, discussion forums, photo & video sharing, Facebook/Twitter export, and private messaging. Additional services such as donation management and volunteer signup are available for a fee. “The WeGather web portal has been instrumental in my volunteer position,” says Natalie Recker, co-chair of the 190-member moms’ group at St. Clement Church in Chicago.  “Having all of our member, calendar and event information in one place is invaluable.  It’s the only website we need to keep the group running smoothly.” Contact the premier distributor of WeGather and WeShare donation management, Liturgical Publications Inc, at [http://www.4LPi.com](http://www.4lpi.com/).  To sign up for your free web portal, go to [www.WeGather.com.](http://www.wegather.com/church-social-networking)   ### Share this article [![Share on Facebook](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/facebook-24x24.png)](http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholicmom.com%2Farticles%2F2012%2F06%2F30%2Fwegather-tool-increases-participation-in-faith-communities-now-free-of-charge%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dfacebook) [![Share on Twitter](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/twitter-24x24.png)](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?original_referer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholicmom.com%2Farticles%2F2012%2F06%2F30%2Fwegather-tool-increases-participation-in-faith-communities-now-free-of-charge%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dtwitter&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholicmom.com%2Farticles%2F2012%2F06%2F30%2Fwegather-tool-increases-participation-in-faith-communities-now-free-of-charge%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dtwitter&source=tweetbutton&text=WeGather%20Tool%20Increases%20Participation%20in%20Faith%20Communities%20%E2%80%93%20Now%20Free%20of%20Charge) [![Share on Email](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/email-24x24.png)](mailto:?subject=Check%20out%20https%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholicmom.com%2Farticles%2F2012%2F06%2F30%2Fwegather-tool-increases-participation-in-faith-communities-now-free-of-charge%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Demail%20&body=Check%20out%20https%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholicmom.com%2Farticles%2F2012%2F06%2F30%2Fwegather-tool-increases-participation-in-faith-communities-now-free-of-charge%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Demail) ** #### About the Author ![Lisa M.
