We're reflecting on the second glorious mystery of the rosary today as part of our celebration of the launch of A Catholic Mother's Companion to Pregnancy.
I have been extraordinarily blessed in the last few years to make some very dear friends throughout the blogosphere. When I reflect on the Ascension, I can't help but think of these people who support me with encouragement, hugs, and, best of all, prayer.
What kind of conflicting emotions must have filled the Apostles as they watched Jesus rise into heaven at the Ascension? But you know, they had each other. As I move my gaze from heaven, I see the wonder below: a group of unlikely people who will change the world.
And there we are, right among them!
Our host today is the Catholic Drinkie. You'll find my reflection on the Ascension there, as well as the prayers.
I hope you'll join us today--and each day of the tour--while we pray together for all of our intentions. I have a special set of intentions that I'm carrying with me as I pray this, and I will remember each of yours as well.
Don't forget that you can enter to win a Nook tablet as we pray and help us celebrate the launch of the latest title in the CatholicMom.com book line. You can enter once a day during from now until October 28.
