Some days, you just need a laugh. If today is one of those days, rush immediately over to Pinterest and follow the awesome board Catholic Humor by the great team at Being Catholic and the Archdioceses of Cincinnati's Being Catholic blog. Being Catholic actually has several fun and uplifting pinboards, but this is the one I really have fun visiting when I need a "pick me up" -- and isn't that part of what Pinterest is really all about? I'm still kinda giggling over a particularly funny "eHarmony" pin on their board... Keep up the great work Being Catholic!
And here’s this week’s tip of the week from Allison Girone of the Catholic Pinterest Group Board who has kindly agreed to offer a weekly pointer for us on how to use some best practices to enjoy and effectively employ Pinterest:
Curious if your blog is being pinned? Put the following URL into your search bar:
http://pinterest.com/source/
YourWebsite.com/ Then, "Like" and comment on the pins people have pinned from your site. You may even want to say, "Thanks for pinning from my blog, I'll be following this board!" And you may even want to repin what they pinned back on to your boards, if the comments they received are interesting to your blog post.
If you’re a Catholic using Pinterest, please drop a link in the comments below to share your boards. Also, I’d love to hear about why you love Pinterest and how you think this latest craze might be used to spread the Good News.
