I'm happy to report the good news from our friends at CFCA that last month's little cutie, Joseph, has been sponsored! As we begin another new year, I'm thrilled to continue our partnership with Christian Foundation for Children and Aging (CFCA). I have been so blessed by your generosity, but also by the example of this fantastic organization in reminding us that support for those in need can also transition into friendships that can last a lifetime.

Ann – Friend of the Month for January 2013

Ann, a cheerful 10-year-old in Kenya, loves to play hide and seek! Her parents are not able to take care of her, so she lives with her aunt, who has three children of her own. The family is struggling to make ends meet through small-scale farming and casual jobs, but they have no fixed income. They live in a wood house with an earthen floor and no electricity (cooking is done over an open fire). Sponsorship will help ensure that Ann continues her education and receives support for such things as clothing, nutritional food and access to health care.
