Now that we've turned the calendar to the month of February, Ash Wednesday and Lent will be upon us before we know it! If you're looking for great ideas to share the season with your family, you'll definitely want to check out Lent and Easter by Jennifer @ Catholic Inspired. Already filled with great pins like Lamb of the Good Shepherd Cupcakes and a Clothes Pin Crucifix, I expect this board to fill up with even more great pins as the season progresses.
And here’s this week’s tip of the week from Allison Girone of the Catholic Pinterest Group Board who has kindly agreed to offer a weekly pointer for us on how to use some best practices to enjoy and effectively employ Pinterest:
Pinterest announced secret boards. Did you create any? They are only visible to you and show up with an icon of a lock. As I use Pinterest as a visual filing cabinet, I am using a secret board to catalog pins that I might not want to share with followers on Pinterest or on Facebook but they are something I want to refer to again. I'm sure I'll post gift ideas there, too. Personal family photos can be stored there, too. Now you CAN create a private group where you pin with friends, co-workers or your spouse. Plan that surprise party, brainstorm that business idea, address those life goals with all the privacy you've wanted.
If you’re a Catholic using Pinterest, please drop a link in the comments below to share your boards. Also, I’d love to hear about why you love Pinterest and how you think this latest craze might be used to spread the Good News.
