When I was growing up, Daddy always made a huge celebration out of the day. Even if there weren't lavish gifts, there were always handmade cards, Mass as a family and breakfast in bed. My mom didn't lift a finger on Mother's Day - it was more about sharing our appreciation for her than spending a ton of money. As a community service, especially to our male readers, this post serves as your formal reminder that Mother's Day is Sunday, May 12. To help you get started with your planning, my friends at **[On This Day Designs](http://onthisdaydesigns.com/)** are offering our readers the chance to win an amazing gift: the absolutely gorgeous [7 Sorrows Rosary Wrap](https://www.onthisdaydesigns.com/rosaries/colorful-7-sorrows-rosary-wrap).[![7 Sorrows Rosary Wrap](https://www.catholicmom.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/RW-Multi7sorrows.jpg?width=600&height=600&name=RW-Multi7sorrows.jpg)](https://www.catholicmom.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/RW-Multi7sorrows.jpg)7 Sorrows Rosary Wrap by On This Day Designs Here's the overview:   [![7 Sorrows Rosary Wrap](https://www.catholicmom.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/RW-Multi7sorrows-MB-400x400.jpg?width=280&height=280&name=RW-Multi7sorrows-MB-400x400.jpg)](https://www.catholicmom.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/RW-Multi7sorrows-MB.jpg) 7 Sorrows Rosary Wrap   ### 7 Sorrows Rosary Wrap **Medals:** 7 bronze 3/8" medals depicting Mary's 7 sorrows, bronze 5/8" medal with Mary at the foot of the Cross. This lovely bracelet is a full chaplet with medals depicting Mary's 7 Sorrows. Comes with instructions on how to pray the 7 Sorrows Rosary as given by Our Lady to Marie-Claire.*   [![On This Day Designs](https://www.catholicmom.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/On-this-Day-Designs.jpg?width=196&height=196&name=On-this-Day-Designs.jpg)](https://www.catholicmom.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/On-this-Day-Designs.jpg) On This Day Designs   This gift comes from the awesome team at **[On This Day Designs](http://onthisdaydesigns.com/). **Here's a bit [about them](http://onthisdaydesigns.com/about/): > *We are a small, family owned and operated jewelry company located in America’s heartland. Our parents, Joan and Jack Minardi, wanted a big family and God answered their prayers with 8 bundles of joy, 6 girls and two boys. We six sisters and two sisters-in-law hung out our shingle in 2006 and haven’t looked back. Actually, to be honest, occasionally we do look back and wonder, “What were we thinking?” Some of our 49 children help us with our jewelry making and eventually we may press our ever growing numbers of grandchildren into service. Presently, we have 12 grandkids…who knows maybe one of them will be running On This Day Designs in 30 years? In between our family duties, we design, handcraft and sell both retail and wholesale Catholic jewelry including hard to find men’s designs, tenners and ‘fun finds’ we want to share with our customers. We create many unique items that may not be found on other Catholic sites. [Read more...](http://onthisdaydesigns.com/about/)* May I recommend that you head directly over to **[On This Day Designs](http://onthisdaydesigns.com/)** and do your Mother's Day shopping today?
