Editor's note: I'd like to thank my online friend Michael Marchand of eCatholic.com for sharing the following announcement about eCatholic's awesome Design Contest. I know we have tons of talented readers, so get busy designing - you could be the big winner! LMH
This summer, we’re releasing a brand new version of our software: Version 5.0.
With that release, we plan to introduce several new themes for our customers to use for their sites. Those designs will come from new designers via the first ever eCatholic Design Contest.
There’s over $3,000 in cash prizes up for grabs! If your design(s) is chosen as one of our new themes, you’ll get $300! Plus, we’re picking our three favorite submissions and awarding them the following prizes: $1,500 for first place, $1,000 for second place, and $500 for third place.
What do you do?
Design a new website theme(s) – in Photoshop – for a parish of your choice (real or fake). Your design should include both a homepage for the parish as well as an interior page for a ministry at the parish (youth ministry, young adult ministry, faith formation, etc.). Details and specifics of what your design needs to include can be found on the eCatholic blog: http://blog.ecatholicwebsites.com/designcontest/
Submission deadline is June 7, 2013, 11:59pm CDT.
