# Five Minutes Alone and Small Steps, Day 2: Simplicity

Oct 2, 2013 8:30:31 PM  |  by [Sarah Reinhard](https://www.catholicmom.com/articles/author/sarah-reinhard)

As we reflect on theme of Simplicity today with [the Small Steps Tour](http://catholicmom.com/book/small-steps-for-catholic-moms/blog-tour-and-contest-for-small-steps-for-catholic-moms/), we thought we'd take a moment to also highlight some of the humorous ways moms grab five minutes.

Today, meet [Abbey](http://www.survivingourblessings.com/2013/08/7-quick-takes-first-7-things-i-loved.html), who is, among other things, a runner, a coffee drinker, and a homeschooler.

That might not seem to be a picture of simplicity to you, but I smacked my forehead at the brilliance of it. Small girls + water + dolls + water = WIN!

**Now, if you haven't already [join us at Testosterhome](http://testosterhome.net/2013/10/small-steps-giveaway-2.html) for some *Small Steps*.** And don't forget to enter the ["Five Minutes Alone" contest](http://catholicmom.com/book/small-steps-for-catholic-moms/five-minutes-alone-contest/) that's going on as part of our blog tour!
