Rosary on Fire! Rosary on Fire!

Not literally. There were no rosaries burned in this fire.

Our family is very blessed to not only have a fire pit in the backyard, but to have one adjacent to our Mary Garden.    You can see her statue in the background behind some purple mums.   Not only is this a great place of marshmallow cooking and guitar playing, but it also is a great place to say an evening rosary—especially in this slightly chilly month of October.   It is the month of the Rosary as well as Pro-life month, and we really need to get those rosary beads smokin’ with lots of prayers.   We have the HHS Mandate which covers abortion ready to go into action, the 40 Days Campaign in many of our cities saving babies, and the Consecration to Our Lady by Pope Francis on Oct. 13th (A Fatima Anniversary)  There are lots of reasons to keep those Rosary beads warm—I mean hot!  (Not to mention so many personal family concerns for which we desperately need Mary’s intercession. Amen. Amen.)

Last year I published an article on Catholic Mom about ways to spruce up your rosary prayers.  It is worth taking a look at again during this Rosary month.
