New out this week is a lovely short documentary from Catholic News Services entitled The Voices of God. The video highlights the artistry of Boston's St. Paul's Choir School, the country's only Catholic boys' choir school.
The video highlights beautifully the mingling of faith, music and scholastics that takes place in this unique learning environment. Since my son Eric, a senior at Harvard, attends Mass at St. Paul's, I've had the unique pleasure of worshipping at a Mass where the choir was singing. If you live in or around Boston, definitely make a date to visit St. Paul's and worship with the boys.

To say that listening to the sounds of these angelic voices after having received the Holy Eucharist brought me to tears of joy would not be an exaggeration. What I truly loved about the CNS video was meeting the students themselves, and hearing about what this place -- and especially this liturgical music -- means to them academically and spiritually. If my sons had attended elementary school in Boston, this place definitely would have been on my list of desirable schools!
