Busy Mom Lasagna
Makes 6 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup onions, diced
- 1 (16-ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 4 ounces sour cream
- 1 (12-ounce) bag wide egg noodles, uncooked
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
1. In a large skillet, brown beef with onion; drain. Add spaghetti sauce, cream cheese and sour cream; mix well.
2. Coat a 5-quart slow cooker with non-stick vegetable spray. Layer the slow cooker with part of the noodles, beef mixture and cheeses. Repeat layers as necessary until cooker is full.
3. Cover and cook on high for 2 hours, reduce heat to low for an additional 3 hours.
Serve with garlic toast and green salad.
Chocolate-Cherry Crunch
Makes 12 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 (14 1/2-ounce) cans cherry pie filling
- 1 (20-ounce) box fudge brownie mix
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup quick-cooking oats, uncooked
- 3/4 cup margarine, melted
Instructions:
1. Pour pie filling in the bottom of an ungreased 13" x 9" baking pan; set aside.
2. Blend remaining ingredients together until coarse crumbs form; sprinkle over pie filling.
3. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
