There is green beneath the snow and ice. There is life beyond the anger and the scowl. There is a person in need of love beneath the sarcasm and the defensive words. Our exteriors protect us from the elements of life. Sometimes the exterior is harsh, unkind and negative. Other times it is withdrawn, quiet and alone; either way it is guarding one from others entering to a place that is vulnerable within. No matter how frozen and icy the exterior is remember there is a precious life within.
