This is another great family recipe. It is a spicy, warm, and soothing tortilla soup, topped with fresh farmer’s cheese, avocado, and Mexican sour cream. This recipe was created by my Tia Laura, the unofficial family cook. Do not be intimidated by the different dry chiles it calls for, it is Mexican home cooking at its best. You can add chicken to it to make a main course or serve as is to start your meal.
