Her numerous academic and public policy articles are published in such publications as Journal of Economic History, Forbes, Harvard Journal of Law and Public Police, and National Review Online. She and Betsy Kerekes author of the popular blog Parenting is Funny. Kerekes' professional experience includes journalism and public relations for Franciscan University of Steubenville, where she graduated summa cum laude in writing, with a minor in communications.
