Aug 7, 2014 1:30:24 PM  |  by [Guest](https://www.catholicmom.com/articles/author/guest) [![Best-Pasta-Salad-Recipe](https://www.catholicmom.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Best-Pasta-Salad-Recipe.jpg?width=530&height=355&name=Best-Pasta-Salad-Recipe.jpg)](https://www.catholicmom.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Best-Pasta-Salad-Recipe.jpg)Soon our garden will be bursting with fresh tomatoes and peppers, so along with the other veggies that I can snag at the farmer’s market and the real foodie dressing ingredients, this makes the BEST pasta salad recipe because all the flavors blend so perfectly together.   It’s also a super easy salad to throw together for your summer cook-outs — it’ll be a hit! The original recipe called for “Accent”.  I had no idea what it was until I read the ingredient label on the bottle at the store, there’s only ONE ingredient: [MSG](http://www.kellythekitchenkop.com/2008/01/msg-dangers-low-fat-foods-and-other.html)!!!  Obviously, I dropped the bottle in the aisle and *ran*.  It was still just as delicious without it. **[click here for MARY JANE’S PASTA SALAD](http://kellythekitchenkop.com/organic-pasta-salad-recipe-my-favorite.html)** ### Share this article [![Share on Facebook](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/facebook-24x24.png)](http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholicmom.com%2Farticles%2F2014%2F08%2F07%2Fthe-best-pasta-salad-recipe%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dfacebook) [![Share on Twitter](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/twitter-24x24.png)](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?original_referer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholicmom.com%2Farticles%2F2014%2F08%2F07%2Fthe-best-pasta-salad-recipe%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dtwitter&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholicmom.com%2Farticles%2F2014%2F08%2F07%2Fthe-best-pasta-salad-recipe%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dtwitter&source=tweetbutton&text=The%20Best%20Pasta%20Salad%20Recipe%21) [![Share on Email](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/email-24x24.png)](mailto:?subject=Check%20out%20https%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholicmom.com%2Farticles%2F2014%2F08%2F07%2Fthe-best-pasta-salad-recipe%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Demail%20&body=Check%20out%20https%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholicmom.com%2Farticles%2F2014%2F08%2F07%2Fthe-best-pasta-salad-recipe%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Demail) ** #### About the Author ![Guest](https://www.catholicmom.com/hubfs/Profile%203.jpg) ### [Guest](https://www.catholicmom.com/articles/author/guest) We welcome guest contributors who graciously volunteer their writing for our readers.
