# Organic Barbecue Sauce Recipe

Aug 28, 2014 1:30:22 PM  |  by [Guest](https://www.catholicmom.com/articles/author/guest)

Recently I wanted an  **organic [barbecue sauce](http://kellythekitchenkop.com/barbecue-sauce) for [chicken](http://kellythekitchenkop.com/chicken)** and we used to like a store-bought kind, but those days are over since it has  [high fructose corn syrup](http://kellythekitchenkop.com/2008/09/no-sweet-surprises-here-we-all-still.html) (heart-killer ingredient), just like all store-bought sauces do. We’ve tried an organic  [barbecue sauce](http://kellythekitchenkop.com/barbecue-sauce) at the health food store and didn’t like it. So I made up my own with help from my friend, Nancy!
