This coming Saturday, numerous non-profits, churches, organizations, and individuals across Southern California will be coming together for OneLife LA around the anniversary of Roe vs. Wade. OneLife LA is set to be Southern California's first large scale celebration of the dignity and unique purpose of each human life.
This will be a family-friendly, action-oriented event with so many fantastic speakers and organizations. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. with a welcome and procession from Olvera Street to the Cathedral of Our Lady of Angels to Grand Park where there will be an incredible line up of speakers, a free concert with Josh Garrels, food trucks, balloon artists, and booths from community groups with service projects to help get people involved. Thousands are expected to attend, but we need more. More people need to wake up to the unique value of each human life and what better way to show the city than a pro-life celebration through downtown. A movement has started with walks in DC and San Francisco and now we have Los Angeles to add to the list.
Let's make sure this year's event is attended and sustains until the culture wakes up to embrace life.
