I am Love I am Love

 

 God’s Presence

Even as the sweltering heat rests upon my skin

 I am joy

Though my heart is broken and my eyes are moist with sorrow

 I am content

Tensions rise within me, yet,

  I am peace

As the struggles of life weigh me down, something greater rises within

 I am love

All in all, I am blessed
Blessed to hear the birds sing

To feel the gentle breeze

Blessed to wake each day

  To breath

Blessed to work

  To toil in the field

Blessed to sit here

To admire God’s gifts to me

God is present within me

I am joy

 I am peace

  I am love
