LEAH DARROW AND SARAH KROGER

"Do not worry", Jesus says about what we are to eat, drink, or wear. Jesus tells us in Matthew 6: 25-34 that God knows what we need and will provide - but we should first seek the Kingdom of God. The Closet Challenge taught me not just to be content with less, but to experience joy with less. The Kingdom of God can sometimes be hidden under piles of "stuff". Clearing out my closet helped me see how little I need to be happy and how generous God is with me in my search for the Kingdom of God. I found my heart more readily available to seek Him when I simplified my life."

DAY NINE

pink_rose_and_buds

Loving God, St. Therese never doubted that her life had meaning. Help me to see how I can bless and love everyone in my life. Especially…

I love your people, Lord. Help me to love them more!
I reflect you to the world, Lord. Help me to reflect you more clearly!
I rely on you, Lord. Help me to rely on you more!
I accept your will, Lord. Help me to accept your will every day!
I try to forgive, Lord. Help me to forgive 70 times 7 times!
I am humble, Lord. Give me more humility!
I see you, Lord. Help me to see you more!
I trust you, Lord. Help me to trust you more!
I love you, Lord. Help me to love you more!

St. Therese Pray for us!

St. Therese is also known as the Little Flower. This is because those who receive miracles by her intercession are often given roses or flowers as a sign. She is sometimes called St. Therese of the child Jesus as well. Although she goes by several names, she is just one great saint!
