One of CatholicMom.com's Facebook friends asks:
I'm looking for suggestions for a thoughtful and memorable First Communion gift for my daughter.
My favorite gift to give for this occasion is a subscription to Magnifikid! magazine. Second-graders are just the right age for this magazine, which is like a weekly missal that children can bring to Mass each week. It includes the readings and prayers, prompts children to follow along and respond properly, and has some fun activities and puzzles based on the Sunday readings.
What would you advise our friend? Do you have a favorite First Communion gift idea to share?
Please share your answers and experiences in the comment box below.
