CM Praise Moments

This week's Praise Moment features Catholic musician Abigail Winzer. Born in 1999 in Charlotte, North Carolina, Abigail Winzer has spent her life developing her God given talent in music. Singing in her church choir provided her with a strong foundation and at fifteen she began training with Sara Jackson of the Boston Conservatory focusing on voice technique and music theory. In January of 2016, Abigail auditioned for and was selected to attend the Fine Arts Summer Academy in Nashville hosted by the critically acclaimed and Julliard trained Annie Moses Band. At the Academy, Abigail so impressed the faculty that she was chosen for a solo performance at the Ford Theater in the Country Music Hall of Fame where she thrilled the sold out audience with her interpretation of “The House That Built Me” by Miranda Lambert. A few days later, Abigail found herself singing on stage at the Grand Ole Opry with country legend and double platinum star Josh Turner. Her incredible experience at the Fine Arts Summer Academy gave her the inspiration to embark on the production of her debut album "Rejoice".
