Puzzled, I asked: “I’ll bet you’re right, Honey, but what makes you say that?”
She turned her face up to the sunshine and closed her eyes, basking in the golden radiance, and said: “Because He’s smiling.”
And from her smile I could tell she was right.
In the exuberance of creation we can see His joy, and in the little faces of His children we can see His smiles.
As the song says, Thank God For Kids!
