Every year, in the month of June, the Catholic Church calls us to increase our devotion the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This year, the feast day is Friday, June 8th. This short podcast is the sixth in a year-long series on the monthly devotions that the Church suggests for our prayer.
Join me as I share thoughts from St. John Paul II, and St. Margaret Mary, on the Sacred Heart devotion in terms of the promises attached to the First Fridays, as well as the ideas for the Sacred Heart novena, and enthronement. Finally, we spend the last five minutes praying the Litany to the Sacred Heart.
