All rights reserved.[/caption] *This year as another sister and I held a Parish Bookfair in Raleigh, North Carolina I spoke with Jodi and Phil Tarnaski, the creators of PrayerLife. Jodi told me how they began PrayerLife and the message they hope to spread.* In the area where we live we see a lot of vinyl decals for *SaltLife* and *LakeLife*. In 2014, after seeing a number of *SaltLife* and *LakeLife* decals on car,s my husband Phil remarked, “If we did a decal ours would be called *PrayerLife* because our life of prayer means so much to us.” That idea stayed with us. It struck us as an important way to spread the Gospel. After I did a lot of research to make sure that no one else had a design like ours, we purchased equipment to make vinyl decals. We began sharing the decals wherever we could. All rights reserved.[/caption] It was exciting when one day our eldest daughter told us that she drove behind a car that had a *PrayerLife* decal on it. That is the whole point of our creating these, to get as many people as we can to have a *PrayerLife* decal on their car. In order to multiply the message we incorporate *PrayerLife *with other messages. The *PrayerLife* logo with an unborn child reads "*PrayerLife *Pro-Life." Another decal adds a cutout of Jesus carrying the cross that is part of the *PrayerLife* logo and recently we created "*PrayerLife* Y'all" with a cutout of the Charleston palm tree and moon. All rights reserved.[/caption] *PrayerLife* means to live a life of prayer. It is a foundation we wanted to set for our children. There are many ways to pray as a family: at meal times, for special intentions, when beginning a trip. Our family prays the Rosary together at least once a week. I also make rosaries with photos of loved ones in the centerpiece. These are a special way to remember someone and can be given to a person going through loss. It is also a means of evangelization. When people see my mom’s photo in the centerpiece of the rosary they ask why. This gives me an opportunity to explain the Rosary prayer. I also explain that *PrayerLife* is from birth to death and beyond. *Pray always* is the message of *PrayerLife*. The sisters at Pauline Books & Media have a display of* PrayerLife* items in their Charleston Center. They also bring the *PrayerLife* wrist bands to schools for presentations on prayer with their *JClub Catholic Bookfairs*. We are able to bring our supplies to parish festivals and as we visit people in our travels. We hope this becomes even more popular than *SaltLife* and *LakeLife* because *PrayerLife* leads us to a deeper relationship with God, the giver and sustainer of our life.
