John Burns offers a video as a companion to this week's reflections in *ADORE,* a new Advent journal from Ave Maria Press. * You have a choice this Advent: Get caught up in the annual rush of shopping, decorating, and parties or slow down and take a few minutes each day to remember who this season is really about — Jesus. In *[Adore](https://www.avemariapress.com/products/adore),* popular author and speaker Fr. John Burns and illustrator Valerie Delgado of [Pax.Valerie](https://www.instagram.com/pax.valerie/?hl=en) will help you reclaim the sacred sense of longing and joyful hope at the heart of Advent, focusing on a new theme each week — vigilance, preparation, nearness, and Emmanuel — that you can relate to your own life. > [Click to tweet: > We turn to Mary and Joseph this week in a very special way as we just beg them to teach us about what it is to look upon the face of God. #catholicmom](https://ctt.ac/dbZdm) The fact of Christ's coming is not simply a historical fact, but an ongoing reality that is manifested for us all throughout our faith, especially in the celebration of the Eucharist. God comes to be with us. We turn to Mary and Joseph this week in a very special way as we just beg them to teach us about what it is to look upon the face of God.     [![Download and print the free ADORE companion coloring pages.](https://no-cache.hubspot.com/cta/default/275132/914ddd7c-642f-4e62-b055-873b14a885c0.png)](https://cta-redirect.hubspot.com/cta/redirect/275132/914ddd7c-642f-4e62-b055-873b14a885c0)   [*Adore: A Guided Advent Journal for Prayer and Meditation*](https://www.avemariapress.com/products/adore) is available from [Ave Maria Press](https://www.avemariapress.com/products/adore), your local Catholic bookstore, and on all major digital platforms. ![Adore-_Instagram-Facebook-5](https://www.catholicmom.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Adore-_Instagram-Facebook-5.jpg?width=1200&name=Adore-_Instagram-Facebook-5.jpg) --- Copyright 2021 Ave Maria Press Images: Ave Maria Press ### Share this article [![Share on Facebook](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/facebook-24x24.png)](http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholicmom.com%2Farticles%2Fadore-with-us-in-advent-week-4%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dfacebook) [![Share on Twitter](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/twitter-24x24.png)](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?original_referer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholicmom.com%2Farticles%2Fadore-with-us-in-advent-week-4%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dtwitter&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholicmom.com%2Farticles%2Fadore-with-us-in-advent-week-4%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dtwitter&source=tweetbutton&text=ADORE%20with%20Us%20in%20Advent%3A%20Week%204) [![Share on Email](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/email-24x24.png)](mailto:?subject=Check%20out%20https%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholicmom.com%2Farticles%2Fadore-with-us-in-advent-week-4%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Demail%20&body=Check%20out%20https%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholicmom.com%2Farticles%2Fadore-with-us-in-advent-week-4%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Demail) ** #### About the Author ![Ave Maria Press](https://www.catholicmom.com/hubfs/Ave%20Maria%20Press.jpg) ### [Ave Maria Press](https://www.catholicmom.com/articles/author/ave-maria-press) Ave Maria Press was founded by Fr.
