Alex Resch thinks that this special giftbox from Grace and Mercy Delivered is perfect for a mother who wants to cultivate more time for prayer and reflection in her life.
It is always fun to receive a surprise in the mail, and I am often on the hunt for high-quality gifts to make the recipient feel loved. It’s even better if the gift is not only beautiful, but helps the recipient grow closer to Christ. This new gift box from Grace and Mercy Delivered checks both of those boxes.
What's in the Box?
I received the Mother’s Reflection Box (which retails for $95). It was filled with many stunning and high-quality items, and came in a pretty package that I couldn’t wait to open. Everything was also nicely wrapped. The company’s customer service was very responsive and accommodating when I sent them some questions that I had about the items in the box.

The box came with a booklet explaining each item. The box contained:
Relax and Reflect Set
This set consisted of a devotional coloring book and set of colored pencils with a sturdy pencil case. There was also a second devotional book for mothers with a devotion for each day of the year. Both devotionals are from BroadStreet Publishing. On each two-page spread, the coloring book includes a Scripture verse, reflection, prayer, and coloring page for women. The Bible verses in each devotion are from various translations. One wish I have is that these were specifically Catholic devotionals instead of general Christian devotionals.
Tea Time Moment and Comforting Jar Candle
This part of the set included a gorgeous mug with a teaspoon, and a stunning candle in a glass jar with a lid (that smelled amazing!).
Virtuous Woman Plaque
I recently set up a “mother’s altar” on the shelf above the sink in the kitchen where I do the dishes. This piece (along with the candle) fits perfectly in the space, and I love looking at it and reading the Proverbs 31 verse while I do the dishes and prepare dinner.

Beauty and Grace Makeup Bag
This bag is perfect for keeping my toiletries and hair accessories organized on my dresser. It can hold a lot! It currently has scrunchies, my deodorant, body spray, and hair clips. It says “Mom” along with another part of the Proverbs 31 verse. It is made from a sturdy faux leather with a gold metal zipper.
Prayer Verse Box
I also displayed these on my kitchen altar. The front has a verse and the back has space to write prayer intentions. There are 64 cards in the box.
Signature Handmade Crown Rosary
The handmade rosaries and chaplets are the most unique aspect of this company. On the website, there are tons of options for special rosaries and chaplets, and they also make custom pieces based on your preferences and requests. The one included in my box was a Crown Rosary, which I had never heard of. It also had my name! After doing some research online, I learned that it is the Rosary prayed by the Franciscans. It is similar to a Dominican rosary, but it has 7 decades instead of 5. The box also included a booklet with instructions on how to pray this Rosary. You meditate on the 7 joys of Mary. Alternatively, you can also meditate on her 7 sorrows during Lent with this rosary.

Gifts for Roman Catholics and Eastern Catholics
Another unique aspect of this company is the offerings for both Roman Catholics and Eastern Catholics. There are gift boxes for Baptism, birthdays, graduations, First Holy Communion, Confirmation, care and healing, retirement, Catholic educators, and ministry workers/volunteers. There truly is something for everyone! The boxes are specially curated by the staff, but there are options for you to state your preferences and requests for certain items.
There are also liturgical boxes for each liturgical season. I think these would make awesome Christmas or Easter gifts for families or Godchildren. They include devotionals for the season, lovely Catholic art prints, and liturgical goodies such as candles and decor.
You can purchase gift boxes individually or send the recipient a subscription. There are also different price tiers to fit different budgets.

A Gift for Encouraging Prayer and Reflection
All of the lovely items from Grace and Mercy Delivered immediately made me want to sit down with a cup of tea, light the candle, and spend time in God’s Word. I loved adding the plaque and prayer cards to my prayer space. They definitely catch my eye and remind me to pray more throughout my day. This box would be wonderful to give someone who wants some encouragement for praying and meditating on Scripture on a regular basis. With the Grace and Mercy box, you really can’t help but want to create this quiet time for yourself. What better gift could you give someone than encouragement and some nice tools for prayer time or a prayer space?
