Not your typical saint story, it tells the unique tale of St. Conrad and his men going off for a hunt, accidentally starting a wildfire and follows St. Conrad’s journey to sharing the truth and asking forgiveness. [***St. Conrad and the Wildfire***](https://stpaulcenter.com/product/st-conrad-and-the-wildfire/) holds a deep moral lesson; the storyline is excellent for teaching the importance of honesty. The illustrations by Patty Borgman are detailed, and your children will love searching and studying the pages, looking for hidden gems! This is a perfect book for siblings of different ages: the illustrations are lively enough for little ones and the story is engaging enough to hold attention of older children. This picture book is bound to be a great addition to your family library! ![Conrad](https://www.catholicmom.com/hs-fs/hubfs/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Conrad.jpg?width=1594&name=Conrad.jpg) > [A great addition to your family library: 'St. Conrad and the Wildfire.' #catholicmom](https://ctt.ac/iapYf) --- Copyright 2020 Gracie Jagla ### Share this article [![Share on Facebook](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/facebook-24x24.png)](http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholicmom.com%2Farticles%2Fbook-notes-for-kids-st.-conrad-and-the-wildfire%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dfacebook) [![Share on Twitter](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/twitter-24x24.png)](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?original_referer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholicmom.com%2Farticles%2Fbook-notes-for-kids-st.-conrad-and-the-wildfire%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dtwitter&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholicmom.com%2Farticles%2Fbook-notes-for-kids-st.-conrad-and-the-wildfire%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dtwitter&source=tweetbutton&text=Book%20Notes%20for%20Kids%3A%20%27St.%20Conrad%20and%20the%20Wildfire%27) [![Share on Email](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/email-24x24.png)](mailto:?subject=Check%20out%20https%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholicmom.com%2Farticles%2Fbook-notes-for-kids-st.-conrad-and-the-wildfire%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Demail%20&body=Check%20out%20https%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholicmom.com%2Farticles%2Fbook-notes-for-kids-st.-conrad-and-the-wildfire%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Demail) ** #### About the Author ![Gracie Jagla](https://www.catholicmom.com/hubfs/_catholicmom/Contriubutors/GRACIE%20JAGLA.jpeg) ### [Gracie Jagla](https://www.catholicmom.com/articles/author/gracie-jagla) A newlywed Catholic wife, expectant mother and children’s author, Gracie Jagla brings the fun to the faith!
