David and Mercedes Rizzo share about facing the challenges of Covid while caring for a child with special needs.
In this CatholicMom Hangout on Facebook Live, David and Mercedes Rizzo share about facing the challenges of a pandemic while caring for their daughter, Danielle, who has special needs.
Navigating remote learning has been difficult, and not having a real "end" to Danielle's formal schooling is a real loss that has been hard for the whole family. It is been important to communicate with our children clearly and continually about the ongoing changes in our daily routines. It has been hard for ALL of us to understand, so we need to be extra kind and patient with children who face unique challenges.
How about you? What unique challenges have you and your family faced during the time of Covid, especially if you have children with special needs?
