Sacred Beauty, a new series by Family Theater Productions, that features artists creating in various mediums, interviews carpenter Jefferson Tortorelli.

Creating Sacred Beauty

Episode 4: Jefferson Tortorelli

Jesus may have been a carpenter, but how often do we think about the carpenters who build the furnishings in our churches? In this episode of Creating Sacred Beauty, we meet Jefferson Tortorelli, the guy behind the altars, podiums, and presider’s chairs of many sacred buildings.

Although he claims to be “the last guy” you think would be doing this, his natural gifts for carpentry and building have blessed so many people. He explains the process of his carpentry, where he believes his talents come from, and what it means to be furnishing so many sacred spaces.
