A new video from our sister ministry, The Peyton Institute for Domestic Church Life, shares the inspiring story of a saint who grew up in a struggling family.

The Church celebrates Saint Eugene de Mazenod on May 21 — the saint for struggling families and broken relationships.

Nothing about Saint Eugene’s early life was easy. And yet, over time, grace patiently reshaped his story. Saint Eugene said: “One must not measure the power of grace by the weakness of human instruments.”

Saint Eugene chose grace amid a messy family life. Today, pray for your family. No matter what the circumstances, pray that each of you will make room to be available for grace.

Saint Eugene, pray for us!
