The Third Week of the Grace of Yes
In week three, Maria Johnson shares a reflection on "The Grace of Humility" and "The Grace of Vulnerability." How we respond to the world around us speaks volumes about the depth of our embrace of the call to a virtuous life. Lisa shares many words of wisdom in this week's chapters. Here are two that were particularly profound
"Humble, generous giving of oneself to the work of God involves conscious choices and lots of practice."
---
"A firm and conscious assent to God's will for our lives place on us the same responsiblity to be unselfish in caring for others and ourselves."

In this week's book club meeting, we conclude our four-week series with one of the Catholic Mom's favorite chapters, "The Grace of No!" Lisa offers criteria for the reader to consider when the best answer to a request or opportunity is a grace-filled (peace-filled) no. In our final chapter, “The Grace of Rebirth,” Lisa concludes her inspirational walk through these eight virtues for generous living, reminding us that although we cannot know where our paths will lead, when we keep our eyes on God, we can be certain they will be blessed.
Join us for Wednesday's Live Zoom discussion on "The Grace of No" and "The Grace of Rebirth."
How Our Book Club Works
We'll meet for four weeks on Zoom, discussing two chapters of the book each week. If you need to skip a session or haven't yet read the chapters, don't worry! We make it easy to come as you are, and we'll share recordings later in case you missed a session or want to review the discussions.
Book Club Time and Dates
