This week in our Bible Study Book Club, Sonja discusses her own "desert" experience and the panic she went through, so similar to the panic of the Children of Israel. In Hebrews, we see that fear equals unbelief or no faith; it equals a sick heart; it equals a forfeit of the Promised Land; it equals sin. It's not the fear itself that is sin, but we find that God is trying to teach us how to rest, particularly in our thoughts.      This Book Club is hosted simultaneously on Catholic Mom's [Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/CatholicMomCommunity) and [YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAuUqHCVPDzyMgSMaMZxxug) channels, on Wednesdays from March 15 through March 29 at 10 AM Eastern. In case you can't attend the live sessions, we share the videos on Catholic Mom on Saturday morning and email our Book Club subscribers with a link to view that week's video. Sonja's book, [*Just Rest: Receiving God's Renewing Presence in the Deserts of Your Life*](https://www.avemariapress.com/products/just-rest)*,* will help you apply the spiritual lessons of the Exodus to your own life. You'll also learn to identify areas of desolation and need, and better understand God's greater purpose in times of adversity and dryness. Experience what it means to invite Jesus to nourish your spirit and guide you to the kingdom promised to all who enter into His rest.   ![Just Rest](https://www.catholicmom.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Just%20Rest.jpg?width=500&height=773&name=Just%20Rest.jpg)     Purchase [*Just Rest*](https://www.avemariapress.com/products/just-rest) from Ave Maria Press at the special price of $13; no coupon code required!
