Maria V. Gallagher finds the new mobile app Saintifi may just draw her closer to Jesus and His Blessed Mother.
When I was six years old, one of my favorite places in the universe was the children’s section of my local public library. I was a voracious reader, and the book stacks were my imaginary playground. In each book I read I found adventures which would carry me through my summers when the break from school allowed me to read my personal picks with abandon.
When I experienced a profound conversion as an adult, I once again felt the pull toward reading. But this time I focused almost exclusively on spiritual titles. While trying to avoid spiritual gluttony, I indulged in as many faith-filled books as my budget would allow. I also enjoyed listening to spirit-filled podcasts to gain a greater understanding of God and His plans for mankind.
A Mobile App that Feeds the Soul
Recently, I had a chance to sample a new mobile app that gives the user access to an array of spiritual ebooks, audiobooks, and podcasts. This Catholic app comes courtesy of respected religious publisher Sophia Press. Saintifi revolutionizes the world of spiritual content, giving Catholics the opportunity to have unlimited access to hundreds of resources for a monthly cost lower than an Audible audiobook rental.
As its press statement makes clear, “Saintifi invites users to immerse themselves in a world of spiritual growth and inspiration, with the goal of deepening their faith anywhere, anytime.”

You Will Never Run Out of Material
Each month, a new set of materials will be uploaded onto the platform. Perusing the available titles, I quickly found a number of ebooks I was eager to read. It was like I had died and gone to heaven and the angels were supplying me with books for every day of the week. The initial launch boasts more than 250 ebooks and 200 audiobooks — an embarrassment of riches for spiritual seekers.
As Sophia Press states, “Users will be hard-pressed to ever run out of stimulating faith-filled content. Listeners can download their favorite selections to listen to offline anytime, so they’re never without enriching, inspiring content.”
Perfect for the Digital Diva
If there is someone in your life who likes to devour eBooks, purchasing a subscription to Saintifi would make for a lovely gift. You would be giving your friend or relative a virtually endless supply of spiritual wonders, easily accessible from a mobile device. For those who enjoy reading on the go, Saintifi makes a delightful digital resource. Boredom will never be a problem as long as Saintifi is available.
A One-Stop Shop
The biggest challenge may be choosing among the vast array of ebooks, audiobooks, and podcasts. After all, there are only so many hours in a day — even for spiritually rewarding reading. But knowing that so many options are available can actually bring peace of mind for individuals who like to have a ready supply of religious formation materials on hand.
Whether you are a fan of The Bible in a Year, Abiding Together, or The Catechism in a Year, chances are you will find your favorite Catholic podcast on Saintifi. That makes it a convenient one-stop-shop for your podcasts.
I found the app to be easy to download and convenient to use. You should be aware of the fact that I am not the most tech-savvy person in the world, so that is saying a lot. The app has allowed me to access ebooks and audiobooks which would otherwise be out of my price range.

Now that I have had a chance to sample what Saintifi has to offer, I must say it is one of my favorite apps for spiritual content. My hope is that it will also lead me closer to Jesus and His Blessed Mother!
The Saintifi app offers a monthly plan priced at $12.99, or a discounted yearly rate of $129.99.
