Laura Huval
Laura has a beautiful voice and original melody is simple enough for us to sing along. The prayers of the Rosary in musical form really allows us to experience each Mystery without rushing through it. Laura Huval’s artistic contribution to this powerful devotion draws us closer to Jesus. If we do not wish to sing along, it provides for a space to listen and pray along.
Her inspiration
Sing the Rosary was written in response to an inspiration laura felt after visiting Saint Mary’s Church at Lafayette, where she felt Mary speaking to her heart. It came two days after Deacon Jules Breaux requested her to record a version of the Rosary in song. He mentions, “Music is such a powerful modality of prayer and can assist us in connecting with God on a completely different level.” It is so wholesome when we respond to the promptings of the Holy Spirit not just for ourselves but to those receiving it, as we can see through this story.
My experience praying with this music
I’ve started playing Sing the Rosary during the morning rush hour as we head out to school, and the music is just the right pace to stay calm and still keep going. It’s also great to listen to and from work. At this point I have been listening to it on loop at home. Besides, it has encouraged my musically-inclined primary-school kids to attempt some of their own.

Funded purely on donations, Sing the Rosary can be accessed free. You can share your experience of the Rosary in song by sharing Laura's music with friends, family, your church, and your community. There is also an opportunity to support the composer's work as a Rosary Warrior.
