Taking the Time to Say a Prayer

Praying is not always easy. But it is the gateway to our relationship with the Lord. I find sometimes when I have those quiet moments, I need to draw myself closer to what’s important. The to-do lists are always in my head, too.

But it’s a blessing to have the thought in my mind, go back to God, pray to Him. This thought helps me to go back to a prayer with Him and it helps to lift my praise, thanks, contrition and petitions to God. What a blessing.

Never doubt that God has His eyes on you always. He is just a short prayer away.

Prayer

Lord, although I mess up frequently by not paying attention to your presence, help me to go back to you each day with all my heart. Help me to know and understand that you love to hear form me. Help me to pray for other people and to love you. I love you too. I want to be with you. Help me to know that whether I’m driving, typing on m laptop, drinking coffee or doing absolutely nothing you are still right there. I love you, Lord!
