Susan Ciancio explains how both teachers and moms at home can use pro-life lessons from the Culture of Life Studies Program.
Are you a parent, grandparent, or teacher who’s concerned about secular education today? Do you worry that your children or students are not getting a quality Catholic education? Do you feel lost when trying to find a good pro-life program that teaches the fundamentals of the faith in a fun and engaging way?
We share your concerns. That’s why American Life League created the Culture of Life Studies Program for schools, homes, and CCE classrooms. And we want to share with you how YOU can take charge of your child’s education, whether at home or at school.
What is CLSP?
The Culture of Life Studies Program is a pre-K-12 Catholic, pro-life education program. We offer standalone lessons and resources to educators, schools, parents, and dioceses. Through our lessons, children build the foundation they need to live a faith-filled life and to combat the culture of death so prevalent today.
Pro-life champions like Abby Johnson, Ken Davison (founder of Holy Heroes), Bobby Schindler, Walter B. Hoye II, and more have advocated for our program and love what we have to offer. And Cardinal Raymond Burke has stated that CLSP “provides an excellent program to teach children, from their very earliest years through their teens, in an age-appropriate, consistent and systematic way, to understand and embrace the culture of life.”
Many of our lessons have an imprimatur and nihil obstat, so you can rest assured that they align with Catholic teaching.
Learn more about our program:
1. We offer a wide variety of lessons.
These are just some of the topics we cover:
- Lives of the saints
- Marriage and family
- The developing baby
- Treating others with kindness
- The value of all people
- Putting faith into practice
- Euthanasia
- Our Blessed Mother
- Pro-life heroes
- The Eucharist
- Care for the whole person
- Responsible citizenship
2. We now have more than 40 lessons for children of all ages: pre-K-12.
We recently released three new lessons, and we have more coming soon! All are age appropriate, and we don’t mention sensitive topics (like abortion or euthanasia) until the fifth grade.
3. Our lesson timelines range from one day to four weeks.
Though we specify how long each lesson should take, all can be easily adapted to fit your schedule, so parents can teach them at night or on the weekends, instructors can add them to CCE classes, and teachers can add them to a regular religion curriculum.
4. All are downloadable and affordably priced.
You don’t have to wait for a package in the mail. Simply order on our secure site, and a download link will be sent within minutes! We create downloadable lessons to keep our costs low and so we can pass that savings on to you.
5. You don’t need a theology background to teach our lessons.
We provide all the instruction materials that you need, even discussion questions and answers. Plus, most of our lessons offer additional materials and links for further exploration! You will have fun learning with your children and students! And if you ever have any questions, we are easily reachable at clsp@all.org.
6. We provide a solid pro-life education.
The world is crazy and is only getting crazier. Our Catholic faith, founded by Christ Himself, holds a richness in its Tradition. The teachings of our faith should be integrated into our daily lives in both fun and exciting ways. CLSP lessons help you accomplish this and help your children see the beauty of our faith.
At CLSP, we believe that educating students on the value of every human being and preparing them to defend their beliefs are key to ending abortion, euthanasia, and other threats to human life.
But we need the help of parents and teachers like you. Visit ALL.org/CLSP, follow us on social media (Facebook and Instagram), subscribe to receive emails (and coupon codes!), and make the decision to bring pro-life education and CLSP into your home.
