Well, not the podcast, but Danielle is going for some (minor) health woes and this brought up this important part of self-care, which we have talked about on the podcast before -- health care for mom. Do you have a doctor? Do you get regular check ups and screenings? Many moms don't, perhaps because they are "too busy" or they have anxiety about medical care. Lisa shares the story of her breast cancer diagnosis from several years ago as a wake up call to every one of us who might be tested to put off regular care, mammograms, and other screenings. We also discuss helping those we love (children, spouses, aging parents) get the care that they need, despite their objections sometimes. Join us for a thought-provoking discussion! Share your thoughts, ideas, and experiences! We love to hear from you with feedback, questions & ideas for future podcast topics.
