Today's Gospel: Luke 10:13-16 Today’s Gospel invites us to reflect on the presence of God in our lives, the gifts He has given us and where we are currently “at” in our relationship with Him. Do we make time to express gratitude to God daily for our lives, the people in them, our talents and our role in the Mystical Body of Christ? Do God’s mighty deeds cause us to repent and change our ways to reflect His ways? As Christians, we are called and chosen. We can freely choose to love God and love others as ourselves. We have been invited to follow Him and to help make Him known and loved. Jesus says, “Whoever listens to you listens to me. Whoever rejects you rejects me and whoever rejects me rejects the one who sent me.” God loves us so much that we are invited to co-labor with the Trinity in salvation history. It is a truly awesome and humbling responsibility! Through God’s grace, our work, prayers, words and deeds make a difference! Today is the feast of St. Faustina Kowalska – Jesus’ Apostle of Divine Mercy. May we make a renewed effort to express our gratitude to God and put all of our trust in Him.

Ponder:

Have you taken time today to recognize the presence of God in your life, thank Him for His boundless love for You and the invitation to co-labor with Him to bring others to Him?

Pray:

Jesus said to St. Faustina, “When you say this prayer, with a contrite heart and with faith on behalf of some sinner, I will give him the grace of conversion. This is the prayer, ‘O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of Mercy for us, I trust in You.'” (Diary: Divine Mercy in My Soul, Sections 186-187)
