Today's Gospel: Mark 28: 1-10
Many times, like Mary Magdalen in today’s Gospel, I feel like I can’t find the Lord anywhere or that maybe He doesn’t hear me. This thought comes to me especially during trials and suffering. However, Mary Magdalen reminds me that He is there but not where I thought He would be.
I look for Him by asking for certain situations to change or for some relief, but He knows what’s best for me even though I feel like I can’t find Him.
By today’s Gospel, I am reminded to always continue to look for Him in prayer, adoration, and through others. The feeling of not finding Him also may have something to do with distrust and believing the voices in my head instead of trusting God’s will.
Like Mary Magdalen, I need to believe I will find Him.
Ponder:
What do I need to do to stay close to the Lord?
Pray:
Lord, please help me to know that You are always with me. Help me to stay close to You throughout the day.
