Join us as we reflect, ponder, and pray together inspired by today's Gospel.
Today's Gospel: Matthew 9:32-38
“When the demon was driven out, the mute person spoke." Matthew 9:33
I wonder what he said. Were his first words of praise and thanksgiving?
When God answers our prayers, when good things happen to us, do we speak words of praise and thanksgiving? When we retell the stories of all the good that God has done for us, does it cause those listening to marvel?
God is depending on us to build up His Kingdom. Sharing the marvelous works of God, singing His praises, and thanking Him for everything that we have can help our Lord bring in the harvest.
Never mind that there will be some naysayers. Even Jesus had opponents who just did not want to believe in Him despite the many signs and wonders. It did not stop Jesus from doing His Father’s will, nor should it stop us!
So, be it your home, work, neighborhood, or wherever, enter the vineyard singing for joy. Our God is full of compassion and love. There are so many people out there who need to hear this Good News. And Jesus is depending on us to spread the Word!
Ponder:
What story of God’s goodness can I share today, and with whom will I share it?
Pray:
Jesus, thank You for allowing us to be laborers in Your harvest. Spirit, give us the courage and strength we need to do the work. Father, please send us more laborers so not one precious soul will be lost.
