January's issue of "To Teach", the online magazine for Catholic educators published by the USCCB, is now online here.
As always, the suggested activities for families are wonderful. This month's theme focuses on the issue of Immigration with the title "Renewing Hope". My favorite activity for this month is this:
Attend Mass with an immigrant community in your area and reflect on the experience with your children.
We have a large Spanish mass at our parish, attended by many immigrant families. It would be a great experience to attend that mass and then discuss as a family some of the suggested topics. Check out the rest of To Teach here.
